Only went to the Customer Service desk this visit. The girl behind the counter was so helpful and very polite, which is always a... given. I love the store. Employees are fantastic and the selection of items are many. Hy-Vee sells about anything you need. Itis a one stop shopping experience. The prices may be slightly higher, but selection and the staff make it well worth it. Plusnow they have many self checkouts. No more waiting in long lines!!! Read more
I always buy the $35 dollar meat bundles every month and when I asked them if they would individually wrapped each piece for me,... and they said that would be no problem. The meat is so fresh and lean and the butcher man was so kind. Thank you Hy-Vee formaking it simple for me, so that I can have a healthy tasty diet, that I can afford. Read more
This review is only for the pharmacy. It's a crying shame that you can have surgery faster than you can get a prescription... filled. My poor cousin is 81 years old. She had her toe amputated and it has taken over an hour to get her prescription for painmedication filled. The prescription was accidentally sent to Hyvee in St. Joseph, and it has been an absolute NIGHTMARE to getthis fixed. Over an HOUR AND A HALF including several calls to the doctor's office. In the meantime, the local anesthesia hasworn off, she's in pain and we're getting attitude. Come on, there's a better way. Read more

Everytime I have walked into this place the people at the food service area are rude as all get out. Walked in today at 11:30 to... grab something to eat and all I hear behind the counter is "What do you want" in the nastiest tone ive ever heard. I tell herwhat I want she gets it for me tells me where the check out is that lady rings me up I pay. I'm waiting on my receipt. She looksat me and say " What do you need youre paid for."
