Recently took a delivery to Memphis area and stopped at this establishment to eat. Great food..server was absolutely... wonderful...very polite and quick. I will definitely stop whenever we're in the area. Good job everyone ???? Read more
My Hubby and I love this place. Great affordable food in a clean, wholesome Family Style environment. The staff is always kind... and friendly and make us feel ?at home?. We try to go once a month for BBQ. The portions are adequate and affordable and theservice is timely. If you?re in the area we highly recommend OR call in for take out! Definitely an old school bbq restaurant. Opened in 1923. Still has the lunch counter with the pedestal stools. Today was my 2nd... visit so I had the ribs. They come as a dry rub and you have choice of three levels of bbq sauce to customize the flavor. Don?teat too much as they have a large selection of deserts. Bozos barbecue is old as all get out. Opened in 1923, the place looks vintage early 1900s. The food and service left nothing to... be desired. The atmosphere was unique. The still working air conditioner is an old Frigidaire, our waitress said it is 72 yearsold and it was still pumping out an artic blast of cold air while we were there eating lunch. Such a blast from the past. Thereis even rumor that a film, yes film was made there of a scene about a johnny Cash movie called, Walk the Line. Read more
