The atmosphere can only be described as ?enchanting?. It?s a beautiful, rustic, secluded lodge with a covered back porch, with a... view of the majestic Restigouche River. It smells fresh and clean, and the serenity of the area means you hear the leavesrustling in the trees around you as well as sounds from the river. The food experience is delightful - many types of seafood areavailable. We tried mussels, scallops, crab cakes, salmon, steak ? all were delicious. Portions were generous. I wish I hadtaken more photos! The owners were our hosts and were absolutely lovely. We can?t wait to return next summer! Read more
Had a very great meal and experience at The River Run Lodge. Reserving a table was very quick and easy. I selected ?business? as... the occasion because when I take my fiancé on a date it?s business time.\n\nLive music and screened in patio were really nicetouches, as was the ?thank you? card that the receipt came in. I will be reusing this card. It is a gift that keeps ongiving.\n\nFood was amazing and the drinks didn?t skimp out on alcohol. The salmon tasted great even as refrigerated leftovers.The chef came out and introduced himself to the tables which was pretty unique. I appreciated that despite not knowing what tosay and awkwardly smiling at him for the first 5 seconds. Sorry chef.\n\nService was top notch as well. We forgot our takeawaycontainer at the table and the server ran out with it to the parking lot just as we were leaving. The ambience, service was excellent. The food was delicious too and they pit plenty of seafood on the plate. Loved the crispy... prosciutto that came with the seafood carbonara. Read more
