Please serve Beef Chow Fun. That wasn't even on the menu but it was easily the best item we tried. Yes, it's not Japanese, but... then the actual Japanese items were blasé. Good Local! Portions can be a little small. I have yet to dine in, but their take-out is always great

Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE the food here! Our service was terrible unfortunately. The last time I visited was... last Wednesday. Myself and my close friend went to enjoy the 40% off special. It was busy (as normal). Our server greeted usright away and brought us wine glasses (we brought white wine). We placed our order and from then on, she was practically neverto be seen again. After an hour of waiting (literally), we finally got her attention and she would check on what was taking solong. She comes back and tells us that it's taking so long because they don't have an item that we hadn't even ordered. It wasapparent that she forgot to place our order and what it even was, so we gave it to her again. By this point, numerous othertables had been seated, ate and left all around us. We finally get all of our food (at once). She didn't even come back to checkon us and we needed even basic things. We asked for the check (eventually received) and kept trying to get her attention to pay,but she ignored us. We paid at the front figuring maybe we were supposed to do that to begin with. I asked and he replied thatthe server should have handled it. I understand that the restaurant (although small), was very busy that evening. It doesn'texcuse the neglect, when everyone around us received good service from the same server. Dinner was great. Be cautious of the roll with jalapenos. I liked it but my friends thought it was too spicy. Other than them... messing up the crispy shrimp spring roll with a shrimp sushi roll which they corrected dinner was great! Read more
