This is a hidden gem. Stayed here one night on our way to the Cape. Had dinner, drinks at the bar, listened to some wonderfully... fun live music and went to our terrific room overlooking the bay. Room was well appointed, comfortable beds and a nice sizeroom. The folks at the Inn and restaurant were terrific. Couldn?t have been nicer or more welcoming. Mattapoisett is quietwhich was just fine by us. For a small hotel this was a fantastic stay and would highly recommend if you?re looking for arelaxing stay on a beautiful piece of the Massachusetts coast. Read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! The food is only okay at best. We chased these people down for MONTHS to have an after party for our... wedding at their restaurant and they closed the restaurant early and would only speak to our party through a window. Incompetentstaff almost ruined my wedding. DO NOT GO THERE!!! 0/5 if I could. Read more

We really enjoy The Inn on Shipyard Park. The view is gorgeous, the food delicious, and the service is awesome. We've met some... of the nicest wait staff ever there, and the other customers are friendly too. Tonight's meeting with Harrison and his granddadwas so sweet, and the digionne mustard haddock was excellent. Best fish tacos I have ever had!! Watermelon sangria was also delicious - french fries were to die for - extremely cozy and... reasonably priced. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Read more
