Good food, overall. Experiences here are pretty consistent and predictable in terms of food quality and service from visit to... visit. The restaurant is widely known for its jumbo cheeseburgers and onion rings. The fried chicken is pretty good also, thoughthe breading is sometimes too crusty and hard for my liking. I like the retro aspect of the establishment. The price pointshave recently reached a tipping point, to a level where I'm having to think twice before going there as often as has beencustomary out of budgetary concerns. The last time I was there, I noticed people who studied the menu and walked out withoutordering. I could tell they were caught off-guard by the higher prices, which the current climate has unfortunately brought tobear. Read more
South 21 is one of the last family owned, local burger joints around. It's great to walk in and see the classic diner styling... with the red and white ceramic tile and the chrome details. It kinda feels like Arthur Fonzarelli should be stand over in thecorner waiting to smack the jukebox. The food us amazing, everything I've ever ordered is well portioned, fresh made, anddelicious. The restaurant is amazingly clean and the staff is always friendly. Such a great place to get a burger. Read more
