Greeted by nearly everyone in the front of the house when we entered. Our waitress was friendly. Only took about 15 minutes to... get our food. Mozzarella sticks were hot and pizza was good. Friendly staff with decent prices. Overall a good, quick eat. Read more
This was the first time that I actually did not have the best time at Pizza Peel. I was with one of my friends and we decided to... eat here. Here are the positives: the food was delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Here are thenegatives: 1: Our waitress was nice most of the time; however, I don?t believe she has the full experience of becoming a properwaitress. To me, I think she needs more training. She did not check on us often, she gave us our food but gave us no napkins andsilverware (until I got her attention), she at times just stood around and did nothing, and gave us our checks before we toldher that we wanted desert. Also, she was with a male waitress at times and I guess she needed assistance in case she didn?t knowwhat to do. Also, when she gave us our checks when we?re done, she just walked off and not said anything like ?hope you enjoythe rest of your evening?. The only waitress I noticed that looked helpful and was on point was a white gentlemen in a blackshirt. 2: The place was not the cleanest. Our table was not properly cleaned, there was some trash around the floor, my friendand I sat in a booth and part of the booth was torn, and I even saw a cockroach crawling around close to our booth. 3: We we?rein Pizza Peel for about 2 hours and the place was not full. I don?t know if there was a shortage on staff. There was a largebirthday party that occurred outside, but I don?t know if it got the waitresses more attention on them and not the othercustomers. Our pizzas took about 20 minutes, which was not bad, but our dessert (shared one dessert) took 30+ minutes to get toour table. Maybe the restaurant didn?t need many employees because it was on a Wednesday, but I?m not certain. This is just myopinion of my experience today. First time visiting and really enjoyed it! Friendly staff and great food. Got the meatballs for an appetizer, delicious, a... little spice but nothing over the top. First time stopping here because it was near a work meeting. The weather was so nice so I sat outside on the patio. I love that... they have gluten free crusts. I had the BBQ chicken gluten free pizza and it was so good! They also served me the best margaritaI?ve had. It was extremely tasty.
