I've never had the wait for service or food that others have described. Then again, we try to avoid the busiest times - which... are plainly charted on the Website. I would never try to excuse poor or rude service. But do keep in mind most of the peopleworking in the front of the restaurant are Japanese and are dealing with: speaking an unfamiliar language; acclimating to a newculture; learning what Americans consider "good service" compared to what Japanese know as good service. When you otherreviewers encounter what you consider as substandard service, do you talk with staff? And do you talk with respect, patience &remember that English is a second language for these folks. As far as the food goes, I agree with all the positive comments fromthe other reviewers. The food is fresh, prepared with pride, and really tasty. Let me recommend one item many diners may shyfrom - the seaweed salad. Exceedingly fresh & delicious seaweed served over julienned cucumbers and dressed with an intriguingslightly sweet/tart vinaigrette-style dressing and Sesame seeds. Read more
