There are a few select hidden gems within the Toledo area and Sahara is one of them. Very first time dinning at this... establishment and if you don?t know it you would pass it right by as well as your opportunity for a great experience. In theplaza at the corner of Dussel and Holland Sylvania in Maumee Ohio. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. The foodwas so full of flavor! The staff very friendly and welcoming. Service was good, but unfortunately the food was poor. Meat was dry, rice wasn?t much better. I would not recommend.
Awesome service. The chicken shawarma was moist and flavorful, the rice delicious, the hummus smooth and creamy. The gyro meat... was crisp. Even the grape leaves had a wonderful hint of spice. The lintel soup was perfect, too. Great place, very quiet andquaint. We will be back! Read more
Masha-Allah first time getting food from here and Alhumdulilah very tasty. Customer service was very great too as well. Very... big portions as well and that?s a plus because a lot of places offer portions for certain amount of people and only will feed afew to be honest. Read more
