We always go to Timmy's while in Mauston. Great place to eat, fish is amazing on Fridays. They also have a great drink menu to... include my favorite drink - Grasshoppers. Very nice to eat inside, we aren't fans of bars but this more of a restaurant vibe -well lit, clean and inviting. Salad bar was good, and they always have good beers on tap like Leinenkugel's to go with themeal. I wanted to rate them great on Trip Advisor, not even listed which blows me away. Highly suggest while in town or livingin the area for a great place to eat. Family friendly. Only thing we dislike is a credit card fee added on when used, we tryto bring cash if we remember. This certainly a locals place to gather and eat. Good indication for good food. We ate from there Friday fish menu. My husband... the shrimp dinner with side of New England Clam chowder. I had Perch dinner. Both came with salad bar & potato. I wish the perchhad a little more seasoning but enjoyed. Salad bar just the right size. Bakers good. Soup very good, alcoholic drinks good. My husband and I had just got done playing a gig in Mauston. It was getting a little late for small town places to be open for... dinner, but we found Timmy's on Google. It was also our 1st anniversary. The friendly folks welcomed us in, made a big deal ofour anniversary (in the best way), and served up cold beer and delicious hot food within minutes. The wait staff was veryfriendly and prompt and the owner was extremely welcoming. Next time we're in Mauston, we will definitely go back!! Read more
