I visited the Chuck E. Cheese in the Golden Gate plaza located in Mayfield Heights on Friday, November 25th for my niece?s... birthday party. The service from beginning to end was terrible. The hostess was rude when I arrived and throughout the night herdemeanor showed that she did not want to be at work. She also did not have on a uniform but was at the door. In addition tothis, the manager Lisa, was rude. At the end of the night, my niece picked out gifts with the tickets that she had won and aftershe had to use the restroom so we took her. As I was standing outside of the bathroom, I witnessed the manager, Lisa, yelling atone of her staff, then running outside as if she was insinuating that the party had not been paid for by us. When we approachedthe front to pay for the party, the manager?s body language was that of disgust. I mentioned to her that instead of prejudgingus and implying that we had not paid she could have simply walked around the facility and she would have saw that we had notleft yet. I also mentioned to her that it?s not right to prejudge people because of what they look like. I would not recommendthis Chuck E. Cheese to anyone. Read more
Pizza's not that great but I don't go there for pizza... great place to take the kids for a fun weekend night! Very kind staff.
Took my baby girl to have fun, she enjoyed it very much we got food but it wasn't enough for the price. They only had one person... working the register but it wasn't packed so it didn't take long to get service. Read more
We went on a Wednesday night and we had a great time, but with the prices, you?d expect better service. Nearly all of the drinks... from the drink area were out, including ice. And the employee that rang us up wasn?t very helpful as to what we should get afterwe expressed it would be 3 of us hungry and wanting to kill only an hour, given I hadn?t been to CEC since tokens were removed.Also, I paid $11 for the salad bar, but it didn?t seem too sanitary. You can tell the cheese bowl was the old cottage cheesebowl. On a brighter note, the pizza was great as always, hot and fresh!!! (: And all of the games worked except for one. Earlier today I was there with my 3 boys as a special treat for them doing well in school. When we initially walked in there was... no one there to greet us. I finally found someone unwrapping the salad bar. I?m pretty sure it was left out all night. I?llnever be able to trust the salad bar again unless I see them put it out fresh. Most of the games didn?t work and when we askedabout them the poor girl was uninformed of what to do. The food was fine except for not being able to get a water cup eventhough I had already ordered 2 large pizzas and 4 drinks. The girl told me that they weren?t allowed to hand out cups becausethey ?count them?. This same girl was running the prize counter which was out of every prize that my boys wanted.
