On Saturday my family and I visited Angelo's Greek Taverna for the first time. Everything we ordered was very tasty. GREEK SALAD... was amazing. The oil, olives, cheese in this salad were of good quality, the vegetables were fresh, the skin of the cucumber waspeeled [which I rarely see in restaurants]. TIROPITAKIA - filo and delicious cheese inside. It was crispy on the outside andtender on the inside. CHICKEN SHISH KEBAB, BEEF and LAMB CHOPS served with grilled vegetables and potatoes. The meat in allthree dishes was tender and tasty, vegetables and potatoes were cooked very tasty. I will definitely recommend this place to allmy friends and acquaintances. Read more

If you want authentic greek food, this is the place. I grew up near Astoria Queens, so I am aware of quality and authentic greek... delicacies. I absolutely love their salad, their platters like the bifteki and their grilled chicken platter. We just keepcoming back!
