Never fails to satisfy with delicious food and excellent service. Walker was our waiter and he was helpful and friendly and... funny :) Hubby got an email about Lobsters from Ruthy Chris' mailing list. And misread it ROFL. He thought that Ruth Chris'was doing a Lobster day where there would be a special Lobster menu LOL. I didn't question him and went along for Lobsters! Noone at Ruth Chris' knew what he was talking about. As we sit at the table, I read the email and said I think they are justsaying you can add Lobster to your order LOL Walker was so accommodating and suggested the Lobster add-on be made into a mealwith sides. The staff was very friendly The food was decent the only complaints is the lobster bisque is a bit watery! Valentine's day dinner meant there was a full house yet service was good except for handling of steaks as detailed below. We... ordered the chilled seafood platter, which comes in 2 sizes. As an appetizer the smaller size is probably good for a table of 6and could be a main course for 4. We had plenty to take home The creamed spinach was good as always. We also ordered the petitfilet medium rare (NEVER EVER order steak at a good restaurant medium or more cooked than medium!). Ruth's Chris serves steak ona sizzling hot dish, which means it continues to cook from when it comes out of the oven until you eat it. So if the serverdoesn't put it in front of you immediately it is cooked more than the chef intended. My steak was a bit past medium rare but mywife's was well past medium and was charred on the outside. The waiter apologized and took hers back but it meant sharing mysteak with her while waiting for a new steak to be cooked for her. This was amateur level performance from Ruth's Chris, and Iexpect better when spending well over $100/ person. The manager should have come over and made some accommodation and our waitershould have had the sensitivity to bring over the manager.
