The only issue I had is that bread was served under our food after I told our server my partner was gluten free. I deeply... expressed that their food could not be cross-contaminated with any gluten products. We then ordered accordingly to fit theirdietary restrictions. Also this isn't by choice, they have celiac disease and it doesn't take much gluten for them to have animmune reaction resulting in them feeling extremely ill and causing damage to the small intestine. Our server was apologeticand had the order fixed. I honestly believe it was just a busy night, but this happened to one of our app's and my partners maincourse. Both times it was something as simple as a toasted slice of bread the food lay on top of. Regardless we had a greattime, with everything being fixed when the problems were presented. I'm just trying to shed some light, so maybe in the futureif anyone else suffers like my partner does, then maybe just a chat with your chefs about double checking an order with dietaryrestrictions. I've worked as a server and I know how busy and hard the job gets with the rush of the night, just a littlethought. Five stars for service! Sunday brunch steak was cooked the right medium rare and the eggs were perfectly poached. The crab cake... sandwich was good. Beer and cocktails were $4 each during brunch hour. Read more
I came around 5 for dinner. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was quiet and calm and perfect, and the waiter was incredibly... kind and attentive. I forgot my backpack when I was there! The waiter noticed and tried to call to me when I left therestaurant, but I didn't hear. When I came back, they were keeping it safely in the office for me. My absolute favorite bar in the northern nj area! I love the laid- back environment and they honestly serve some of the best... food around! I don?t think I?ve ever had a bad meal from here , ever. Some of my favorites are the chicken Parm, cauliflowertacos and the goulash. But what really makes Twin Doors the best is the people who work there; all of the servers and bartendersare so friendly and you always feel part of the family when you?re there!
