If you want legit Jerk chicken then this is place to get that fix. I order out here weekly and its always on point. Everything... on the menu is whipped up fresh, if you are ever in the mood for something different in mcallen then give Jamaican jerk stop ashot, I reccomend it???? Read more
I love this place. The curry chicken, wings and rice & peas are great. Make sure to add a patty!
It was my first time here today, and I think I should've come sooner. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere definitely... had good vibes to it. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Plate and took it home for lunch. The first thing that got my attention was theamount of rice there was. Usually rice is a side that comes in a smaller quantity, but I absolutely loved the taste of it! It'sa 10/10 on its own and I loved it even more with the sauce that comes with the plate. The sauce has a spicy bbq taste to it, andit doesn't have a thick viscosity either; which is to my liking. I also used it with the chicken and the taste was really goodtoo. I really liked the seasoning and texture that the chicken had. The chicken itself was so soft that it came right off thebone without effort. The amount of chicken that's in the plate might not be satisfying for others, but for me I think it wasenough. The rice and vegetables both had a really good taste to them, so I'd be disappointed if they put less of that to makeroom for more chicken. I payed about $18 for the plate and a can of Sprite, and honestly I think it's worth it. I'm verysatisfied to know that I got my money's worth because overall the quality was really great. Read more
My first time and I am so pleased to know that the Valley finally has something more to offer other than just Mexican food....no... hate... I love Mexican food, but c'mon we need more variety. Loved my oxtails dish, well worth the price....somebody complainedin their review about it being 80% rice...I love that they're not stingy on the rice and beans.
