Pretty average for a local diner. Lunch on a Saturday. The place wasn't too crowded but it was far too busy for the one young... lady to handle the entire dining room. She did great, but was definitely overworked. Cheeseburger w/fries was ok. Fishsandwich w/fries was good. Two iced teas. My french fries were mostly old maids (crunchy little pieces at the bottom of thebasket). $40 bucks total. A little pricey for the modest atmosphere. The tiny little bugs crawling on the sugar dispenserwere a little concerning but I was charged for them, so all was OK in the end. Read more
I should have walked out as soon as I was greeted by the rude owner trying to push a pamphlet on me for a program that doesn't... exist where I live. I dropped where I was from to explain this and her response was to cut me off with, "Well, I didn't ask youwhere you lived." The prices seemed decent until we received our food, I don't know why the reviews for this place are so good,maybe the locals expectations are just that low or they have no other options around. My BLT was seriously the worst BLT I'veever had with maybe 4 pieces of VERY burnt bacon, a PILE of lettuce and 2 tomato slices. My kid ordered home fries and theyresembled chips more than fries because they were so thin and dry with hardly any seasoning. Breakfast on Friday with friends. Excellent diner meal. My rule is, if the firemen, UPS drivers, or anybody driving a truck... with ladders is eating there, it's good. I had eggs, hashbrowns, and grits. Read more
