Great staff, really good food but get ready to walk unless you?re lucky enough to find great parking like I did. There are... parking LOTS all around the downtown area. Be patient and be ok with walking feom one of the LOTS a few blocks away. Once yourhave lunch or dinner you can walk the McKinney square. Great for exercise and to discover many awesome shops. El Major is a terrific Mexican food restaurant, less than a block off the square, in McKinney, TX. Their food is fantastic. We... ordered their guacamole for our appetizer. It was so fresh and delicious! I ordered the cheese chile relleno. It was terrific!In fact they give you two of them! Hello lunch tomorrow! As a vegetarian, usually there aren?t any beans that are vegetarian,but here, they offer vegetarian black beans, which is much appreciated. Had brunch here today for the first time and it might be my new favorite place! Chips and salsa are a make it or break it for... me at any Mexican restaurant and this place did not disappoint! I had the breakfast tacos with sausage which was delicious. Wehad a pitcher of sangria (20% off on the weekend) and the manager shared the yummy recipe with us! Our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is dependable and delicious. My five year old daughter has loved this place since it... opened and always asks to go on nights we eat out. We go at least a couple of times a month. The management and chef come aroundto check to be sure everyone is satisfied and it?s obvious that their heart is in their food.
