Had really high hopes for this place (was super excited when i saw it was opening soon). Bought a loaf of sourdough bread and... the flavor was really lacking.. could barely taste the sourdough flavor. Decided to try again and got a sandwich with glutenfree bread. It was a to-go order or I would?ve talked to manager/owner but my entire sandwich was falling apart. So much so thatI had to use my own bread at home. I paid extra for stale, cardboardy gluten free bread that was breaking even before i pickedit up. I wish I took a picture before I tried to pick it up but i took a picture after to show how the bread just crumbledbasically. Super disappointing. Read more
So many great items in this bakery! Fresh French bread, white bread, sourdough bread, desert breads, cookies, brownies, sweet... rolls, cookie mix, brownie mix, Quiches and SO MUCH more. Our family absolutely loves the House of Bread! We?ve been by a couple of times and each time our experience is even better than... the last. First time through we were greeted by the lovely staff and orientated to the menu (there?s a lot of options). Wedecided to keep it simple so we had a couple of half sandwiches (which were massive. You sure those are halves?), some of thegranny white bread and banana nut. Everything was fresh and delicious but our loaf of granny?s white bread was a home run. Thetexture, smell and taste reminded us a lot of the homemade white bread we only get from my wife?s father. Outstanding! Thesecond time through we tried their snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon roll and challah bread. Like the firsttime through, everything was just amazing. The snickerdoodle is probably my favorite cookie?ever! Perfect balance of sugar andcinnamon, a bit of crunch on the outside and soft chewy center. Just the way I like it! My wife had the cinnamon roll and shefelt it was one of the best she?s had as well?even surpassing her own homemade. Finally the challah bread was wonderful byitself with a smattering of butter but also made for a dynamite hot ham and cheese with Easter leftovers. Tried to murder me!! with awesome cookies and stellar sandwiches. Click bait done. Seriously though the cookies are to die for... from the ever chewy and delicious oatmeal raisin cookie to the crunchy deliciouness of the white chocolate cranberry cookies.The sandwiches are great as well.
