Beautiful decor. Nice location. They use locally grown veggies, which I haven't seen a lot in Virginia. Well done!! This... place is also near Greensboro metro. They have a really efficient set up. Instead of a hostess there's an iPad to log yourselfinto. I haven't been to Japan, so maybe this place is authentic- but I wasn't impressed. There's a spot in DC that's worth theadditional cost and time of using metro to get there. I ate my food and the portion was just right (small bowl), but it's notsomething I'd eat again. I ordered veggie Ramen. It was sweet and milky? Read more

The place was overlay nice and pleasant. 4/5 stars because the ramen wasn?t amazing. Good but not amazing. I sampled the shoyu,... the miso, and a bento tempura box. The tempura was amazing. I wish they would fry a chicken breast instead of just port. But thepork was of high quality and very tender. I would certainly go back, but I wouldn?t drive out of my way for it. Also the femalewaitress is very nice and pleasant to speak with. She recommends the spicy ramen Read more

This place gets full a lot. On weekends, there are long waits but I didn?t have to wait on a weekday. One of the really cool... things about this spot is that they actually tell you the difference between noodle bowl sizes by weight. I recommend eating amedium bowl if you?re getting the set, unless you?re really hungry. The egg was more cooked than I expected for most ramenplaces. The noodle texture here is great. If you like thicker noodles, the tsukemen may be a better choice. The shiyake issomewhat dry. I recommend asking for mayo and mixing it in! Gyoza was nice and crispy. Takoyaki here (not pictured) is also verydelicious. Read more

I ordered the combo set with ramen and salmon rice, and added extra spring onion and garlic paste. Ramen was good, but the egg... was over-cooked, and the garlic paste was pretty weird? Overall, it?s still a nice meal, but just not as perfect as I had inother locations. The service was good. There?s a public parking lot nearby. Read more

One of my favorite ramen shops in VA. I have been going to this place for a while and every time I visit this place, both food... and service were consistently great! Parking can be a little tricky, but I usually use the Whole Foods parking lot since theplace is a lot closer. I had Karaage and Takoyaki for appetizers , both dishes were really good! Perfect for sharing with yourfriends. Both shoyu and karamiso tonkotsu ramens were very delicious. Tonkotsu broth was really flavorful and the noodles werecooked perfectly. If you want to make your ramen spicy, you should ask for the chili oil. Definitely enhances spicy level andflavor. I highly recommend this place! Read more
