Wow! Super impressed. I must admit, I haven?t spent much time in McMinnville but I am sure glad we spent the night having Dinner... at 1882 Grille. We didn?t realize how warm, comfortable and spacious the place was. They have a great bar area upstairs, a hugground level patio with fireplace and a super cozy dining area downstairs. The food, menu and drink options are super solid.When a restaurant dedicated itself to ingredients, locally sourced, etc etc?a lot of times they miss the mark on fulfillingplates. Not 1882, everything from the appetizers, to sandwiches, pizzas and main course items are amazing. The Lounge Menu isreally nicely edited and gives you fresh local ingredients and a wide range of options We highly recommend the BuffaloCauliflower, the Steak Bites, the Skirt Steak entree and the Fish and Chips! Delicious! Oh, plus don?t be shy of there Tequiladrink, Mexican Mule! Hits the spot. We have to thank Marty for giving us the low down, sharing his insight and just genuinelybeing a great host. Booked outside seating downstairs & discovered a beautiful screened-in patio with good ventilation & plenty of heating including... a welcoming fireplace, properly-spaced tables, & nice relaxed ambience. Food was tasty, service was friendly if a bit slow(starter arrived about 45 min after we were seated, but we went at 6pm on a Sunday & Google said it was as busy as it gets).Oddity: they have separate kitchens on the 1st & 3rd floors, serving tables on all levels from both. Tables nearby ordered fish& chips which smelled amazing & looked like good value for money; we'll be back to try that. Had the Ribeye, chargrilledperfectly to requested temp & seasoning seemed light intentionally light to allow the pure flavor to stand out. Small butdelightful selection of locally-inspired beer offerings. Didn't spring for the whisky flights or cocktails. Overall a veryenjoyable experience. Read more

A perfect meal. We were greeted by a young man with a great sense of humor and personality and was seated quickly. We started... with drinks that came quickly. I got bread for the table and asked if we wanted fondue with it with I agreed to. When the breadarrived it looked dark and over cooked. This was not the case, while the inside was a little more dense than I like, the outsidewas crispy and delicious. The balsamic dip was phenomenal, the butter it came with was very well seasoned. The fondue was outof this world, it was cheese with a little garlic butter in it. I would come back just for the bread. My wife ordered thelasagna, it came in a cast iron pan. The flavor was out of this world. I took just one bite and the combination of the spices inthe sausage and the sauce was perfect. I have never had a lasagna that was anywhere near as good as this. I ordered the ribeye. On the menu it said this dish had steak butter with that I was looking forward to. When it first came to the table I wasimmediately put off by what looked like liver pate on the top of the steak. I pushed this aside and tried the steak. It wasphenomenal, the liver looking topping was the steak butter, I am guessing the wine in the butter gave it that color and thetaste was to die for. The seasonal vegetables was a squash and green beans and tasted amazing, I wish I could have ate more ofthem. Overall my meal was a 10/10. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food. The food was amazing but the service waswere they shined. Very attentative young lady who was warm and friendly. I had hurt my foot earlier in the day and I was inpain, she must have thoght my discomfort was due to the meal being subpar because she showed genuine concern for my enjoyment ofthe food multiple times.
