Stopped by to pick up lunch it was on a Saturday morning shortly after they opened for the day, I have never been here before I... was expecting this to be fresh and tasty However that was definitely not what I received. 1 meal with 2 meats pulled chicken andbrisket corn bread side of cheesy Mac applesauce Pulled pork sandwich Brisket sandwich 2meal was with brisket and pulled porkluau beans potato salad corn bread Brisket was dried out in every container and I received only 1 pc in the sandwich cut inhalf, pulled pork was not as dry and barely covered the bun. Cole slaw was in a 2oz sample cup My sides are what really threw methey charge a lot for very little 4oz styrofoam container that is how all the sides came. I even had to laugh at the speck ofcorn bread given This is an expensive and disappointing lunch if you are going to do smoked bbq please dont serve dried outproduct, it felt like I received yesterday's leftovers and then charge me as if it was freshly made. I see that quite a few people like this place... So my review is not going to get much play with them. Let's start with the... smallest things first and then go from there. I came in during lunch time and the place was absolutely deserted. At this point,I am now not surprised why it was deserted. The coleslaw there was no tang to it at all. It had no sweetness it had really noflavor. The green beans, I love green beans. What he had done to the green beans was nothing short of a crime! The green beanswere very salty. Not a little salty, very, very salty. I had a pulled pork sandwich and even though it had sauce on it, it wasvery dry and very, very bland. I had gotten sauce on the side and I drenched the sandwich, literally drenched, and it wassomewhat better, but the meat was dry and there was no flavor. I'm sorry if all you people out there that love this food so muchlike bland food... More or less Pennsylvania Dutch style food... But I don't. I like my barbecue to be bold and to have a littlebit of a bite, which is not to say that I needed to be extremely spicy. But I do like good bold BBQ that has both a smoky and abit of a spice to it. Maybe some of you alleged barbecuers could go down south to Mississippi and Georgia and try some realbarbecue and learn from the pros.
