Outstanding cozy family owned authentic Italian restaurant now in Albertson's shopping center corner of Barnet & North Phoenix... road... next to Bambu.. Pleasant ambiance, modest prices, owner Vinny and his Son are usually in the kitchen, Vinny's wifetaking orders and dispensing smiles at the counter. March 2021 update: Hours seem to be wed-sat for dinner. Better call first. New menu too. The authentic sauces are deep and rich with flavor. Tasty spaghetti marinara special for lunch ($9.95 as of8/23/18) is a large portion with warm slices of baguette. I usually buy one meal for lunch and one to take home...then add apack of mixed frozen veggies...divide in two ziplocks or Corningware containers...and freeze for inexpensive "emergency" latenight meals. Paisan's pizza and ravoli are excellent too. Recommended. Read more

The food here is always excellent. You get good sized portios no matter what you order. The calzones are BIG and will definitely... fill you up. Plus the staff are always friendly and pretty good at handling a full house during the lunch rush. Read more
I was immediately greeted at the door. Certainly felt like a very unique place. The place is covered in the family history and... pictures. Definitely makes it feel like the owners take pride in this business. I have never been to New York before but I wouldimagine this is how it would feel/ look. Had a cheese Pizza and yes it is thin crust, the type you fold when you eat it. Verydelicious and fresh. Read more
