When thinking late-night Memphis eats, Cookout or maybe Dixie Queen probably comes to mind for a lot. But Bardog has just made... the top of the list in my book. I read a review online about a customer who said this place had the best hot dogs in Memphis and awesome fries, so I popped in.... They were not exaggerating. I got the dog of the day, which was pretty simple, ketchup, mustard, onions, tomatoes. Didn?t thinkit?d be the size of two hot dogs!! And the fries were some of the best I?ve had - like a crunchier, higher end version ofMcDonald?s fries, and I mean that as a compliment. We all know how addictive McDonalds fries can be! My one qualm is there is arequired 20% gratuity calculated into the bill, which normally I wouldn?t mind, but I felt like my waitress used it as an excuseto provide lazy service.
