We went for Afternoon Tea at Chez Phillipe. We had a great time as usual. Perfect Sunday outing! ???????? The crab salad and... curry chicken salad are among my favorites in the savory course. I really like the salmon mousse, but I feel like it needs to beserved on something crunchy. Sorry, I ate my scone before I realized I didn't get a picture of it! ???? It was so good! It'salways my favorite course! I mean, a warm, delicious cranberry scone topped with cinnamon and sugar and served with clottedcream and homemade strawberry jam... you can't really blame me, right? ??????????? I was actually full by the time the dessertscame out. I did manage to take a bite of my opera cake though. So good! For my tea, I tried the Chocolate Chai for the firsttime and it was better than I expected. I added milk and honey and it was perfect! The Peach Blossom, Blueberry Rooibos, andScarlet are also among our top favorites! I also need to just add a shout out to the Duck Master, Kenon! My daughter and I came for afternoon tea, and we had such a delightful experience. We we greeting and seated quickly, and our... host was friendly and accommodating to my daughter's 6 month old who was with us. Our waiter, Chris, was great. And what wecame for - the 3 course tea - was simply delicious. So, if you're going for the tea, and are worried that it won't be enoughfood, it was! This was the first time that i tried afternoon tea at the Peabody and it was so enjoyable. I enjoyed a glass of champagne, a... scone, tea sandwiches, bite size desserts as well as the chocolate chai. Everything was so delicious. I really enjoyed thecoconut macaroons and the chicken curry salad in the croissants. The dining room was very elegant. I will definitely returningfor afternoon tea in the future.
