Breakfast was tasty. We had the kitchen Sink and vegetable omelette. Along with Iced Coffee?s ?free refills? The waitress did... an amazing job and was very attentive to our needs. Price was comparable to any other breakfast establishment. Environment wasclean, but the Fans above our heads were wicked dirty and the idea of eating over it and thinking about the dust falling on ourfood was most unpleasant. Yes, I would come here again. Always a great place to eat. The food is great portions and flavor, it's just slightly over-priced but still overall worth it. I... frequently go there on weekends with my daughter and she loves it. We took a road trip here as part of our summer quest for best diner / breakfast food last Thursday afternoon. We waited a bit to... be seated, mostly because no hostess came forward, but there were plenty of tables in the back room. The historic diner car ispretty cool and the backroom addition also has a nostalgic feel. The waitress had no problem with my adult daughter's numeroussubstitutions to one of their combos and, for the most part, it came out how she wanted it. (There was a $1 upcharge for subbingfrench toast for pancakes, but that was fine.) I had the veggie omelette which was stuffed really well. It had a lot ofbroccoli and I believe onions and peppers in it, plus the swiss cheese was tasty and plentiful. I generally don't eat potatoes,but like to try one bite of the home fries just to see what they're like. Theirs were eh. Just seasoned big chunks ofpotatoes. Overall, it's a cool place with good food. My one complaint would be that the wait for the food to come out seemedinordinately long considering that they weren't packed or anything. Read more
Met friends for lunch. The food was great. It took longer than necessary time to get seated, as the place was less than half... full. The cost for three burgers and a bowl of chowder was $47 (including tax but excluding tip), which I thought was rathersteep. If we had been seated promptly and the price was a few dollars less, I would have awarded five stars instead of four. Read more
