A friend recommended this restaurant and I'm glad they did. We made a delivery order. Spicy Beef Jamaican patties were great as... was the Kingston style Jerk Chicken. Their Boss Lady Dry Rub seasoned Wings were excellent. Flavor was unique and I haven't seenwings that large in years. Yes it was a little pricey but we got what we paid for and more. Read more

FIRST, I want to say that I debated whether to give this 4 or 5 stars, and so much of me wants to give it 5 stars, because when... the food here is good, it is freaking amazing!!! I could eat an entire bucket of those fried plantains without coming up forair, and the Jerk Pork is quite delicious as well. My daughter wishes she could have the wings every single day. Literally theonly reason I can't bring myself to give it 5 stars is because it was a little hit or miss over the past year - at least at theSt. Paul location. We ate here in November and the flavor was notably absent, and the meat was pretty dry, which is why it tookus so long to eat here again. My hope is that it was a pandemic-related issue, as they were just getting this location back upand running again when we came in November. Since I plan to go there regularly from here on out, I will change this review ifthe food is consistently as incredible as it was this time. Honestly, though, don't hesitate to go here. It's unlike any otherplace in town! Read more

I love Jamaican food! My favorite Jamaican restaurant closed recently so I thought to try this place out. Overall, it was okay.... You know when it wasn?t horrible but it was nothing exciting where you wouldn?t return anytime soon- that?s how I feel. Iordered the oxtail, bone in chicken, beef patties, plantains and 3 hot sauce (which I actually got the BBQ sauce instead.) Ricewas too hard (if cooked properly it should be fluffy and not have the grainy texture) and it didn?t have enough seasoning- itwas just literally rice and a few black beans to me. The cold slaw, I would recommend skipping it. The plantains were too soggy, granted I was there when it open at 11am, so maybe it was yesterdays plantains refried? The patties, in comparison to others Ihad, the pastry was dried and tough. The oxtail and goat was alright? fall off the bone so that was good. The bone in chickenwas the ?highlight? of the whole meal! It would have been better had they given me the right sauce that I paid for though.Overall, okay. I hope to find my next MN bomb AF Jamaican restaurant soon again. And yes, it was CASH ONLY. Read more

The chicken had a lot of flavor and spice but it was a bit dry. The slaw was fresh and crunchy. Plaintains had a great texture.... Rice could be a little better Read more

Been to the Minneapolis location and wanted to give the St. Paul location a try. The guy working there didn't even come out of... the kitchen till we had to yell at him if there's anyone here to help us after waiting for 5 minutes at the counter. I get it,that work is work, but we can see in his face and body language that he didn't want to be there and work. Ordered my curry goatand he didn't even give me plantains (as you can see in the pictures). Chicken wings ok, flavors wasn't there for Jamaicanspices. Other than that, the curry goat was good.
