The goat curry, jerk chicken and jerk pork are brilliant. The goat curry is tender and flavorful and the jerk chicken and pork... are juicy with the perfect char. The upside-down pineapple cake and corn bread are spot on as well. Read more
Casual, order-at-counter place. Be ready to have your taste buds lit up! Most favorite dishes are the combo curry goat + some... other meat, like jerked chicken or oxtail. House sauce (served on the side) highly flavorful and spicy, but in combo w the rice,it's quite manageable. And the fried plantains- oh so good. The goat, chicken & oxtail we ordered were all tasty & tender. Foodgets on your fingers; they do supply wipes for cleaning your hands before & after. We ordered the house ginger "beer", which hada serious amount of ginger flavor. Seating outside, dog friendly. Most people do takeouts but our group of 8 sat there for along time & had a great time! It is , to me, the last of authentic foods that either bring you back to childhood or takes you away to a dine on vacation.... Comfort food! Eating the plates with flavors that explode with flavors in every bite elsewhere or there. And the food is servedhot and always to your satisfaction with a smile from the friendly and accommodating employees. A 5.0 star rating.
