After spending two nights at Pinewood Sand Hill in San Francisco, I still can't get over how fantastic the hotel is. Service was... amazing, location is convenient and local to the airport, 40 minutes into the city. Rooms were spacious, clean and top quality.Looking around the hotel - I peeked into their meeting rooms and again, great rooms with private terraces to each room. Theytake pride in their product. Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Rooms are extremely comfortable, the food is excellent, great spa and all the hotel staff... are super friendly and accommodating. What absolutely blew my mind is that you can just 'borrow' a car if you want to driveanywhere... free of charge! That is service on another level! Read more

You have it down, Rosewood Sand Hill! I felt pampered, taken care of tothe utmost extent, even spoiled. The attention to detail is truly exceptional - from the hand-stitched pillowcase with myinitials, to the layout of my in-room breakfast spread, to setting out slippers next to my bedside, to bringing me a bee fan bythe pool - and it all results in the guest feeling extraordinarily special. Very good food. In the restaurant but also in the room service menu. Steak was very good and better than at the most restaurants... nearby. My room was nice and spacious but the price performance is miserable.
