The service was terrible. We waited for our server to take our drink order for amost 30 mintues and we waited about an hour for... our food. Our server did not bring the things we asked for so we went and asked the hostess, who provided better service thanour server. All that waiting for average food. Read more
It was a slow Thursday and I would?ve rather stayed home. Issue 1: The food we was terrible, first issue was the ?sweet? (like... salt instead of sugar) French onion soup which was an upcharge. Second issue with food was between the brisket and ribs I?mpretty sure they used an entire bottle of Sweet Baby Rays. I literally had to wipe off my brisket with paper towel since it wasunpalatable. Third food issue was the steak, tell me why a ribeye came out GREY. It was tough, under seasoned and not enjoyable.We left 75% of our meal at the table. Issue 2: our waitstaff was cold and inattentive. The waitress Katy was in charge of thetable and only came to it maybe 5 times. She had other tables get seated after ours and left before us, not to mention checkingon them several other times without stopping at ours. When I told her about how the food had drowned in bbq sauce, her responsewas ?ask for it on the side next time? and ?it?s sweet baby rays, how do you not like it?. A unique, tasty, and awesome restaurant dining experience. Wood fired anything makes food taste much better in my opinion!... Service here is top notch and the servers, bartenders and employees I encountered were all friendly and very helpful with anyquestions I had about the menu or drink options they offer. The chicken I highly recommend as it was so juicy and tender full offlavor! Prices are very fair with the nice size portions they give you and lots to choose from as well. Went at around 2pm. Not super busy, sat instantly with fast service and not a long wait for food. The Interior was clean and... great decor of western style but not over done. Great kids menu (not small or only the basics) warm fresh soft great breadserved with homemade apple butter better than Texas road house. It had a few chunks of apple in there. So good. The French onionsoup was out of this world! We also got the rotisserie chicken white meat, ribs and pulled pork open sandwich. Those meats werejuicy, flavorful, more than just its sauce. phenomenal!!!! We would drive to Milwaukee just for those meats. The only downfallhere was the brisket which was a huge disappointment. Would definitely not recommend this as it would ruin how amazing all thereother options are. The garlic mash was also nothing all that great. Also there cheesecake is only served starting at 6pm. So wecould not get it. All in all If you are looking for a great bbq this is most definitely the place to go wether it?s chicken,pulled pork or ribs. Read more
