The drinks were small and expensive. The food was not very good( we ordered several items) The service was so bad and the waiter... was so rude. At one point he actually banged the drink on the table when he delivered it. I won?t return or recommend this placeto anyone! Read more

The Chipotle Melt that I got at Native Son was honestly very good and can picture myself craving it in the future as well as the... radish salad! Customer service was a little slow, but I completely understand because they were short staffed. In addition,their service was very nice and friendly, I hadn?t liked my mocha drink all that much and they replaced it with an iced caramelmacchiato. Will return with friends and family! Read more
Good service, good food and great location. The restaurant is in the middle of Downtown Merced. It?s located in El Capitan... Hotel. I ordered their Chipotle Bacon Melt which comes with applewood bacon, aged cheddar, arugula and chipotle spread ontoasted sourdough bread. The portions were pretty decent. The melt was very delicious in regards of flavor, but it wasdefinitely on the salty side. The bread was really soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. You could choose from potatochips or salad as your side. I ordered the salad, and it tasted very fresh. The dressing that came on it was delicious. It was alittle sweet and a little sour.
