The tostones needed to be better kinda plain to be honest, but the empanadas both savory and sweet ones were excellent, staff... was superb and took time to talk with us. Margaritas really good too. Definitely worth a try. Read more
Very pleasant experience in an attractive, artistic setting. The open patio is bordered by a charming urban garden, and there... are many colorful murals. I'm not a terrific fan of fried foods, but the empanadas were varied and tasty, and the fries wentover well. We chose this place due to its proximity to the Mesa Arts Center, which is only one block away. We also enjoy empanadas,... having eaten them several times while traveling in Ecuador. The menu had a large selection of savory empanadas and wechose two each served as a platter with white rice, black beans, and cabbage salad. Everything was delicious! We also hadthe house made sangria that was not too sweet and very refreshing. For dessert I had the peanut butter and chocolate empanada,which was outstanding. I recommend getting there about 5:30pm before it gets busier. The restaurant has its own parking lot, so it's very convenient. Read more
