Not my 1st foray into a Bonefish grill. Makes a very nice mid level date night. With a more upscale look and appeal without the... more upscale pricing. The Bang Bang shrimp tacos are pretty good and so was the Mac and cheese. Fantastic lunch! We arrived right at 11 AM as they were opening. The place was already spotless and ready. We had a group of... five out for lunch or a business event. They sat us at a slightly larger table so we had plenty of room. I had a prettyextensive special lunch menu. Lots of fish and seafood dishes that all sounded pretty amazing! We ordered a poke bowl, troutcreole with asparagus, rock butter fish, tempura sashimi and another poke bowl I know the two people who ordered the Pokébowls enjoyed them extensively. I ordered the rock butter fish and it was absolutely fantastic! The fish was cooked toperfection? Not over cooked in the slightest. it had a cream sauce over top with lump crab in it. The green beans or just OK inmy opinion, but the asparagus was grilled to absolute perfection. The trout was served grilled with the skin on one side. Oneof my coworkers also ordered the lava carrot cake and proceeded to eat the whole thing. If you are a carrot cake fan you willwant to try this. I?ve eaten at Bonefish Grill several times in the past but got bored with their limited menu. It had been a couple of years... since my last visit, so decided to dine here recently. I like that the menu includes the calories for each item. That?s superhelpful for those with dietary concerns. We were sat next to a table where the lady was working and talking on her phone loudly.That was irritating but she left soon after. I ordered the Cod Imperial with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The quality of theasparagus was lower than I?m accustomed to and the serving of potatoes was quite small. Needless to say, I could have benefitedfrom more food lol. The other guest had the Sirloin & Crab Cake and thought it was good. The pumpkin ravioli was oddlyinteresting and would have been better appreciated by a pumpkin lover lol.
