This was a most unexpected and rare find. We stopped in on a weekend. CLT is one of the best breweries anywhere in terms of... great tasting beers of so many varieties. All were superb. We ordered 4 flights and then pints of what we liked best, but therewere so many we loved...you know how it goes! The Original Ambar Lager was amazing. The food dished out there was great too. Weloved the avocado salads and flatbread pizzas the best. The prices were a little on the high side, but based on the quality, itwas well worth it. The only problem was the location. The outside setting has much to be desired. Walk inside the beer gardenand everything is beautiful, but it's hidden away by a high wall, protecting the brewery from an unsavory neighborhood outside.The interior of the taproom and brewery were safe, spotless and comfortable. Parking was an absolute nightmare. Everytime wethought we found a place to park, there was uncertainty of whether it was legal or not or if the car would be towed. Rightacross the street was parallel parking but two signs posted on the fence along that side of the street, one indicated it was atow zone and the other promoted the parking app that you pay for through your phone. That kind of ambiguity is unacceptable andif it wasn't for the excellent operation inside the 10 foot wall, this rating might be lower. Read more

We visited on Wednesday evening for appetizers and beer. This was our first visit, so I had a flight, while my husband tried a... couple of IPAs. The flight set up is unique and fun. This brewery has a great selection of IPAs, which pleases my husband. Ipersonally enjoyed the stout and the Schwartzbier? The food was all delicious and our server was friendly and knowledgeable.Everything was great! We'd like to do the tour soon, or sit out in the garden area once the weather cools off. I really liked this place. The entrance between two big historical-looking columns and amazing murals is impressive, and opens... to their outdoor space: a nicely landscaped garden and patio, nicely landscaped with a stage for live music and an outdoorbar. The interior is huge, you can tell that it was created from a warehouse, yet it has a great ambience and décor. All theirtables all big (“Oktoberfest-style”), and there is a long bar facing the brewery in the back, which is visible from anywherethanks to its glass walls. That day they had three “tank-to-glass” beers. I tried the Tropiflaca, and found it veryrefreshing. I also tried the Berry Blush, reluctantly I must say because normally these fruity beers are too sweet for my taste;however, to my surprise, it was a great beer and not at all sweet! They also offer food, but we had just had lunch; thereforewe passed on it: we will definitely try it next time though. Parking is very difficult to find. There is big parking lot infront of the brewery but it is so expensive that I don’t even know if it would be worth it even if you’d stay there all daylong… I look forward to going back! Read more
