Delicious and fresh Peruvian food. The place was recently remodeled and expanded, it looks beautiful! Their leche de Tigre... ceviche is to die for as it is the lomo salteado with risotto a la huancaina. Our server Gustavo is great, ask for him when yougo. If you?re looking for a lowkey, relaxed, not so pricey yet tasty, quick date spot Dr Limón by FIU is the vibe! From the second... you sit you are welcome with a Leche de Tigre shot, toasted corn kernels, and a sauce which was delicious! The servers are superfriendly and if you?re indecisive like me, they are so helpful with hooking you up with the best dishes. The food comes out fastwhich is quite nice, from the time I sat to the moment I was munching it was no more than 15 minutes. I ordered the ShrimpTruffle Roll (8.5/10 if you enjoy truffle this is a go to), a hidden menu special ceviche suggested by my server apparentlycalled Peru Campeón which is basically the Centro de Lima ceviche with Leche de Tigre instead of lime juice served is a cup(7/10), and the Lychee Flor de Jamaica cocktail (3/10). My server had recommended me the Marajito which apparently is the bestcocktail, I must say I fumbled the bag with this one. It was my first time eating Peruvian food so it's hard for me to compare. However I've has sea food before and their parrillada... was amazing! Also our server was Carlos and he was absolutely great with his service. The only complaint I have is that theydon't have a restaurant of Dr. Limon in Chicago. We need you guys out here too asap! If you are in Miami and looking for something fresh to eat and you like fish don't think it twice, Dr Limon is for you. This... Peruvian ceviche worth every penny. The house courtesy is a shoot of milk of the tiger (leche de tigre) that will definitelyhook you up for what is coming next. Not only is a bright place, but the staff is super nice. I asked for the Cuarentena cevicheand came with traditional fish ceviche, fried ceviche and two mix ceviche I also had a red Sangria. 69 dollars worth it.... OMGit was so so good and fresh, Now I can said in Miami my favorite place to eat is Dr Limon located in the 105th and 8st. Ourwaiter Juan was on point.
