This spot is so cute! I wish I could give it 4.5 instead of 4 but it’s not an option. Our starter, the fried chicken, was... really tasty. The breading was seasoned really well and the wasabi mayo dipping sauce paired with it perfectly. We ordered themushroom fried rice which was extremely creamy and more akin to a risotto. It was super flavourful and rich. A big servingeasily shared between 2 or 3 people. We couldn’t finish it and took about half home. Would highly recommend. They said tonightwas the first night it had been ordered and we were the first ones to try it. We’d order it again! For my ramen I got aRakata Tonkotsu. The broth was very fishy and overpowering. I really didn’t like it. But the egg was perfectly cooked and Icould have eaten a whole dozen. The pork belly was really nice and not chewy at all. Noodles were great, just can’t get overthe broth. Did I order the wrong one? Everyone on here is raving about it!! I’m more than happy to go back and try anotherone! The service was excellent and I can’t say enough good things. Read more

The sticky buns are an absolute MUST have. They’re probably amongst the best I’ve had, though I must say the addition of the... salted miso butter made everything a tad too salty. A great start to the meal nonetheless. The ramen itself did everythingright - pork belly was perfectly marinated and I loved how it was crisp around the edges. Egg was also perfectly marinated andvegetable toppings were fresh and crunchy. I got the small OG tonkotsu, which was rich and creamy, and my husband got theregular sized shoyu. Overall, a solid bowl of ramen, though I did feel the broths were a little too salty and it’s unclear tome if the ramen noodles were fresh. Price point was also a little higher than I’m used to to for ramen and sake, but may justbe due to rising costs in the area overall. They do have some happy hour starter options on weekdays until 7pm. Service was alsovery good and the restaurant felt very welcoming. Read more

As a ramen enthusiast I was disappointed in both food and service. It seems likely that no one on staff actually has in-depth... knowledge on how to make authentic ramen. I feel conned out of a $100 meal. Wait service You order and check out via app sothere’s no formal wait service. Although the staff encourages you to ask them questions about the menu, we had to get upseveral times to the bar to ask questions. Menu We saw the hokaiddo cheese tarts and charred miso eggplant on Google and thewaitstaff had never even heard of eggplant on the menu (half the reason why we were convinced to come). They were also out a lotof items including spicy salmon and the cheese tarts???? Food Overall extremely overpriced and underwhelming. My partner and Igot the fried chicken baos, the Japanese street corn, shoyu ramen and tantanmen ramen. All the dishes were dull anduninspired. The baos were lackluster. The fried chicken was barely crunchy and the sauce was kinda tangy but had none of theumami flavors you usually get with Japanese izakaya despite this being a chicken dish. The corn was tiny in serving. Itwasn’t bad. But nothing about it was Japanese. Basically just queso fresco cheese and corn— not worth it at all. The shoyusoup tasted watery and the tonkotsu equally lacked depth in flavor. The noodles barely had any bite and were a little mushy bythe time they got to us. Our ramen also just took forever and the soup did not come out hot. Tbh we walked in during a Fridayevening and it wasn’t busy at all but regardless, the kitchen seemed like a mess (there’s an open kitchen). 2 stars insteadof one because the ambience was ok. Literally the best bao buns I've ever tried! A little spicy but perfectly balanced with fresh veggies and fried chicken. Ramen... was good, too. I've asked for the lightest broth, so it was not as flavorful as regular tonkotsu ramen. But to me it was perfect- with delicious pork and marinated egg. Read more

Minimalistic space with a good selection of ramen. The O.G was interesting, but could be a bit too hearty for some. The shujo... and tantanmen were good. I recommend this spot for some good ramen in Miami. Read more
