I understand that alot of businesses are having staffing shortages. But customer service and communication are essential. I... placed my to-go order online. Upon arrival to the restaurant I waited at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff memberthat was handling to-go orders. As she was helping the hostess take down names. After giving my name for my to-go order she goesto the back and come back 10 minutes late with another person's to-go order. Then more people come in with to-go orders, shebrings out their order fairly quickly. Each time she brought out an order she would walk pass me and say nothing. I finally stopher and ask about my order. And she tell me that it is not ready with an attitude and walks away. My primary issue with this isthat for 30 minutes she walked pass me, with orders and never communicated that there would be a wait and that my order wasn'tready. I understand the kitchen being back up, another staff member even apologized and mention that the manager was the onecooking because they were so short. But communicate that, don't just ignore customers, ultimately I waited over an hour forpancakes and waffles. If you choose to order from this IHop order and hour before you actually want your food. If you are looking for terrible service then this is the place for you! Place was empty which is cool. But no customer service... skills from the staff. I mean I ordered a simple Pepsi and they brought me a diet. When told I told them it was a diet they saidoh well. And after trying to order the food they basically had nothing on the menu. My husband and I visited on 04/28/22 for breakfast. We had a nice time and our food was good. We were seated quickly and our... waiter was very nice..I wanted to sample the lemon blueberries pancakes and he got me some to try for free :) but thank God Ididn't order them because I didn't like them. The only issue I had was the 1st set of silverware I was given were dirty and I had to ask for another set ??????????? It was a total turn off...please wash the dishes properly people!! Yesterday 11/20/22 myfamily placed a pick up order...I could not believe the way they prepared my meal (salmon, mash potatoes, mac & cheese), themash potatoes & salmon were sitting in mac & cheese sauce..this was so unprofessional and those were the nastiest mac & cheese Ihave ever tasted..never again!!
