Best little family run Italian restaurant in the area. Wine selection is great. Food is varied and delicious. Located centrally.
We entered the resturant and impressed with the atmosphere. Very nicely decorated and were seated quickly. Unfortunatly, we... both ordered lasagnas that were pricey at 25.00 dollars a piece. One of the lasaga has the pasta burned on the entire edge. Weasked for the server to return it for another one, and the owner came to the table to tell us that the cheese burns when cookingand thats normal. I explained that it wasnt the cheese that we were concerned with it was the pasta. Apparently it must havebeen an edge that was intially over cooked. He took it back, removed the burnt pasta and replaced it with more sauce and addedcheese. Then the owners wife came to the table to inform us that next time we order lasagna to make sure to tell the waiter notto over cook the lasagna. Really? Unbeliveable! I was very dissapointed, not with the waiter or the staff but the oweners.Instead of taking it back and bringing us another lasagna, they decided to surgically alter the returned lasagna and add cheeseto make it look like a new plate. A pricey resturant like this should not be engaged modifying existing orders to cover up flawsjust to save money. They lost me as a customer!!! Read more
Charming restaurant in a nondescript strip mall. Atmosphere is classic and elegant, and service was polished and impeccable. I... enjoyed the garfen saladwith an amazing sweet/tart vinegarette, shortrib ravioli, and the pear custard tart. The bread was hotand fresh with a thin but crunchy crust. Highly recommend. Read more
