A family neighborhood Thai restaurant that also offers some popular Japanese dishes. The service is warm and attentive. But they... stay busy without much time to interact with customers. The food was excellent! While the prices were a little high, I think itwas still worth it. Almost all the customers were non-Asian. Many of them seemed to be regulars. Nice atmosphere but nothingexciting. Read more

Used to be a great restaurant with great food before Rin purchased it. She is running it into the ground. Portions have been... getting smaller since the day she took over and the quality of the food has gotten worse. Really too bad. Read more

Terrible experience. Air conditioning was broken they had portable fans instead. I normally order the chicken pineapple curry... with a 2 for spicy. When I tried my food it was extremely spicy. I advised the waitress that I couldn?t eat it because it was tospicy for me. She didn?t retrieve it or replace it for a new order. I left without eating and she charged me for the food. Iadvised the gentleman at the register what had happened and he didn?t care. Been coming to this restaurant for the past 13 yearsbut won?t be coming back. Read more

More stars. Tani's deserves more than 5 stars. My family and I have been coming here since they opened. We used to live two... miles down the street and would order the same thing every Friday: 1 entire plate of cocky bob for each of the older kids, Padthai for mom, a steamed fish for Dad, and little sister would order the chicken satay when they had that, back in the day. Usthree kids would froth at the mouth for a chance to go Tani's and successfully convinced our parents so many times that thewoman who always took care of us had our orders memorized by heart. As we got older, our family grew up and apart but Tani'salways remained. Any celebration was had here. Graduation, birthdays, anniversaries. It is the glue. The owner always took careof us and was so kind and so gentle. Her face lights up every time she sees us walk in. and mine, too. When I go to pick uporders, I look for her to say hi. I order from here as much as I can, which is only once every other month. But when I go, I amalways so grateful and so happy to see them again. A lot has changed but Tani's is a constant. Very Good Food and a must-have ifyou are in the neighborhood. My family and I no longer live in Pinecrest but WE WILL GO TO TANI'S when we can gather. Irecommend having the shrimps in a blanket, the chicken Pad Thai, and the cocky bob. Shrimp in a blanket are so crunchy, tasty, and satisfying. The sauce is perfect pairing. Pad Thai from here is the standard I compare all of the other Pad Thais I eat. Itis the best Pad Thai in Miami. But the cocky bob. Ive never had another chicken dish like it. It's sauce is so tasty and theway they cook their chicken is incredible! It's addicting, especially with their perfectly steamed rice. Once you have it, youwill be ordering it every time you go for the next 25 years- I can vouch for that. ------ TLDR: Go here and ORDER THE COCKYBOB. This place is incredible and you can bet they'll be seeing me. Read more
