I don't typically have good experiences at chains, but this place was different. I got the beyond meat burger, which was juicy... and well seasoned. The only thing I wish I could change about that is the lack of char. I've never been able to get a meatlessburger with a char on it when I'm eating out, but I know it's doable since I can make it that way at home. Can't figure out whyit's not a thing whilest eating at a restaurant, though. My boyfriend got the cheese fry burger, and he really enjoyed it.Service was quick and not rushed, which was nice because we had time to kill while we waited for our flight. I was traveling through the MIA Airport on Sat. Sept 3, 2022. I accidentally left my phone on the counter and didn't realize... that I did not have it until I was on the plane. I called the bar and told the bartender that I had left it there and wouldreturn on Sept. 6 on my way back through the airport. Sure enough they had put my phone in the office and it was there when Iwent to pick it up. I want to give a grateful shout out to the bartenders on duty the day of Sept 3. (lunch crew)! What a greatgroup of people who are truly there to serve. The reflects on the quality of Friday's employees who not only serve great foodand beverages but have a high degree of character. Have been going to TGIF's at different locations once or twice a year. Never bad experience except today at airport Miami. ... Start off that we were the only one in the "be seated" line. Waited over 5 minutes. First person looked at us and mumbledsomething then walked away and soon after another person seated us. Tried to download menu on phone and since I just turned onmy phone and the service did not kick in, I asked for menu's . Both menu's were wet and my wife's was semi stuck together withsomething . Ordered appetizer and main course. Usually I order beer or wine but since being up since 3 am I just needed a coke .Wow over half of the glass was half full of crushed ice and a bit of coke for 3.51 . What a rip off .Got our main course andhalf way through eating it, the waitress finally came to our table asked if we needed anything so we requested our appetizer tobe removed from bill since we did not receive it. I don't need to be asked " are you sure" ! The main courses were the qualitythat I am used to but everything else a let down. There was not one employee that I saw that showed anything close to a smile. To me , everything seemed to be an effort for any employee. Had the food not been as expected, I would not have given any tipbut for the first time in years and years, I gave only a very small tip so that it was know that the tip was not forgotten .With so many restaurants options available, it is likely this will be my last TGIF meal for a long time.
