Used to love this place. Bald bartender literally looks for fights. Came on comedy Thursday with two friends all of us over 30... years old. One girl only has photo of her passport and id. We just came from three different bars no problem. Guy doesn?t serveher (no problem). Then proceeds to come over unprovoked and say don?t put your beers near her?. We live around the corner from Taurus, and working from home especially, we like every so often to get a drink here. We recently... encountered a bartender we haven?t in the past, Daniel, who twice in the same week we found to be generally confrontational andnot of a client-service mentality. He just has this ?big man on campus? persona he?s trying to put on, which isn?t authentic andquite frankly is dissuading us from returning. Known as the oldest establishment, I was looking forward to coming here. Never again. Our waitress was a complete airhead who... had zero care for our order. After waiting 40 minutes for 3 beers, we saw her sitting inside watching a football game?had to askseveral times for our drinks. Then when we asked for dessert, she said kitchen was closed and closed at 10. We never knew thatand she said, ?The other server asked if you needed anything.? Sorry. We don?t read minds.
