I had never tried anything from Amy's cakes and she was recommended to me by a couple of friends and let me tell you her cakes... was amazing. I had her make an Iron Man cake for my 5 year old son and it was Soo pretty!!! The cake was moist and sooo good, myson loved it. The staff was so sweet and nice. I had a great experience.. Amy Cakes is by far the BEST bakery we?ve ever ordered from. We wanted a special printed cake for my late father in law?s... celebration of life. He was a huge Disney (Tigger) fan. I created the art, and they printed it- and it was stunning. To behonest, we were blown away at how it looked?. Until we bit into it. O M G - I am not a cake fan, and especially yellow cake, butthis cake had me going back not for seconds, but thirds! It was super moist and dense. Back in April/May I tried ordering a cake for my dad's 70th birthday and they turned me away. But, the way they were very... professional and polite about it really sat well with me. So I just ordered my mom's 70th and gave them a week or so moreadvanced notice. Offered an idea and told them to use as much artistic freedom as they pleased. Picked up the cake the day ofthe party and was blown away. The design was simple but elegant, two tier chocolate with some chocolate filling. This is whereit gets better, I needed "70" candles and they had some that were just not quite the right color scheme. Well Amy herselfhappened to hear me chatting with the cashier about it and offered some color appropriate "70" candles. That personal touch fromthe owner really sat well with me. Fast forward to the party: chocolate cakes in my opinion are usually dry and crumbly by thetime they're eaten. Well not this cake. Moist, appropriately delicate and the buttercream frosting was the perfect ratio. Thefilling was perfect and everyone loved it. Folks at the party were all clamoring for where it came from and I was more thanhappy to let them know I got my cake from Amy.
