I used to love Chuys. I was bummed at the beginning of the pandemic when they reduced their menu, but I understood and the food... was still yummy. Went back today and was at first shocked at how limited the menu is now. Literally 4 appetizers that cost thesame as an entree and only a small selection of entrees. Everyone in the dining room looked miserable, but we decided to stillorder our meals. Food arrived and still no silverware, had to ask the kitchen staff because our waitress was nowhere to be seen.She said maybe 3 words to us the whole time. Food was horrible this time. My boyfriend and I went here for lunch. This was our first time ever being there. Actually my first time even knowing of the... place. We were out doing some shopping and wanted to grab a quick lunch. I saw the place and decided to give them a try. Whichturned out to be pretty decent place. It's a Mexican restaurant. I normally don't each a lot of Mexican. But I liked what I gotfor the most and so did my boyfriend. The only thing is that I didn't care for the appearance of my meal. It didn't look verypleasing. But at least it tasted fine. We ate at the bar and they lady behind the bar was very friendly and made sure we werehappy with everything. They served us chips and dip while we waited on our meals and sipped on our drinks. Which I must say werepretty delicious. Another thing that would of been nice. Is if they would of had hooks under the bar for us women who carrypurses to hang them on. Because we don't want to put them on the floor or hang them on the chair where someone could easilysnatch them. Anyhow my over all experience was pretty good. Great tasting food and the server was excellent!
We always have a great dine in experience. I wish had the same for take out. The last two times we ordered takeout, our crispy... tacos had half the filling inside. We will not be ordering from here again. Read more
