If you remember the drive in restaurant with carhops, you will feel right at home. Food is always top notch. The only downside... is, due to popularity, you have to wait upwards of an hour for your order. The waitstaff is working their proverbial butts offbut the volume of customers was observed to be massive. They deserved every penny of any tips. Read more
A drive-in that takes cash or local checks. The food was hot, plentiful and delicious. You pull in, someone comes to your car to... get your order, then brings it to you when it's ready. As a side note, you can buy a gallon of freshly made root beer to takewith you. Read more
I make a specialty trip once a summer to A&W. This summer I was a bit disappointed. I was not prepared to spend $70 for 4 to eat... fast food especially when my burger was just ok, and there was no vanilla ice cream! How do you have a true A&W experiencewithout a traditional root beer float? But the cheese curds were yummy and the service friendly. I will be back, but I mightcall to make sure there is Vanilla, as the coffee ice cream was a poor substitute! Read more
I miss that the servers aren't on rikert skates anymore. That said, it's still A&W with decent burgers and of course the root... beer floats. They also know how to cook their fries ask the way through - many places don't seem to know how to do that anymore. Read more

Always Good Food! I used to eat the cheese burgers and onion rings but now it seems beef bugs me.
