After spending $100 to feed our crew we were chased into the parking lot by a member of the staff and accused of stealing... whipped cream. They claim to have this on video. I have contacted the local store manager in Middlesboro, Ky, as well ascorporate and can't get anyone to respond to my request to view the tape. If someone from our party did indeed take the whippedcream I will happily pay for it. So far we have been accused of being thieves and liars but no response to a request to see "theproof". Thanks for the speedy reply to my online review. That is awesome. I will gladly update my review when this matter isresolved. Since this initial review has been posted I have been contacted by the local manager Jennifer, as well as thecorporate office. After reviewing the tape from the day and time of our visit, both have been quite gracious and apologetic. Ifound Jennifer to be professional, courteous, and concerned . It appears that there were a series of errors andmiscommunication that has now been resolved. Although our incident was unfortunate, these things happen and I wish no ill willtoward the restaurant or their employees. There are few enough places to eat around here. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend trying this place for yourself before trusting some people's reviews.
This was beyond the worst experience I've ever had at waffle King. We seat ourselves and overhear employees cussing each other... so we laugh that off and order when the server finally shows up. I ordered the t bone medium with eggs over medium whichusually comes with toast and a side well I got 2 eggs over well 20 mins later and the server said your steak isn't done yet.Another 5 minutes here comes my steak well done not medium. We were never offered a refill and sides never showed up. So afterwe ate our food went to cash out total was $30.17 for 1 steak that was over cooked and 2 eggs w drink. I tipped $5 cause I'mnice but dang ill never go back. Over priced, horrible service, bad food. Not even drunk food worthy anymore. Read more

We drove from Campbell County TN today to eat at the waffle king, we were waiting on the waitresses to clean the table we where... standing at the table when her family came in and she seated them ahead of us at the table we were waiting on. She then walkedaway and never even acknowledged our existence , it took everything i had not to cause a scene, so we just walked out. If shewould have just said this table is reserved or even acknowledged our existence it would have been fine. I sent two emailsthrough the company website with no response. So if you have any issues dont waste your time trying to email the company theydont bother emailing back which leads me to believe they dont care at all about their customers. Read more
