Really good place, very inexpensive and a great crowd. Good for while there is a badger game on or definitely after. They have... a few gaming machines as well as an outdoor area and a decent selection of drinks. Read more
Used to think it was cool, but I feel like I was refused service for some reason tonight. Came for some quick drinks after a... long day and was passed over by two bartenders while a group next to me was served. Another customer was waiting for awhile tooand I saw him serve himself out of frustration when the bartenders weren?t looking. I used to be a regular. It was my favorite spot, and I have always tipped more than 20 percent. I was there w a service animal... eating chicken strips. The owner physically shoved me out the door because I was there w a service animal. She was wearing hervest, which is not required by law, and I had the card of her registry in my wallet, which I offered to show. As a veteran withptsd, I am dumbfounded on why the owner put his hands on me and shoved me out. She wasn?t barking? just sitting by me. I won?tgo back, and I will make sure all my colleagues at UW Madison know how I was treated. Disgraceful. I served 10 years for mycountry and to protect him, and he physically threw me out. I came in as the first stop on my birthday , highly recommend by a friend but I was super disappointed in the atmosphere. it was... pretty empty when we arrived, the first bartender we had was rude slammed my drink on the counter hard enough it spilled on meand then within 10 minutes, the bar was packed with what I assume were regulars. Everyone stared at us funny throughout our stayand I dropped a couple pool balls on the floor and someone yelled at us to get out. Second bartender was cool but the atmospherefrom the first bartender and the regulars really turned me off. We left quickly after having two drinks each and one game ofpool. Couldn?t have been there more than 45 minutes before we had all had enough of the looks. We weren?t even being loud oranything so I?m not really sure what the problem was. Read more
