I've been eating at Zupas for years, I even went to the grand opening of this location when they invited local companies to try... it. Their food is great, definitely my favorite sandwich and salad place. However in the last year their service has beenfrustrating. Tonight was the last straw and made me write this review. I'm lactose intolerant so I always order no cheese. Buthonestly the last 11 orders I've placed they made it incorrectly. When I got takeout I wouldn't realize till I was back in theoffice, but it was happening so often I started checking in the store if my sandwich had cheese and 11 times out of 11 it did.The "no cheese" mark was always on the box, written by the line lead. It's really frustrating since I love this place so much,but I wish it wasn't such a big deal. So if you're not customizing your order you're golden, I definitely recommend Zupas. Butif you are, be sure to check your order before you leave the store. Read more
Visiting from Canada on business. Love a good soup and salad, but mannnnn! The service, the freshness, the price and quality... were just AMAZING. Especially to be served so fast. Envinment is bright and clean, bathrooms modern (soap smelled great) just...really felt refreshed after having driven for 16 hours. 2 things that stood out above the rest: That Wisconsin cauliflowersoup is ???? sooo good. Probably one of the most loved bowls ive ever had. And the service. Holy cow. Ben starts you at thefront of the line with the most patient perky greeting that made me super comfortable taking my time and Joseph on the cash waslike professional lightening. Literally. Promptly and faster than I'd ever seen (& smiling!) rang 3 of us up, held 2conversations, dished out strawberries and still made eye contact -- in like 5 minutes? I Door-Dashed lunch from Cafe Zupas today, and I am very pleased with my meal! I tried the pick two option, with the southwest... protein bowl and the roasted red pepper lobster bisque. This came with a complimentary chocolate dipped strawberry and a roll. Ialso ordered the Strawberries and cream creme Brule. Our clinic had Cafe Zupa's cater our Employee Appreciation event today and we couldn't be more happy with the quality of the... food and the service. During the ordering process, they worked with us to ensure all of our budgetary and dietary needs weremet. Day of, not only did they come early and help us organize the meals, but they also brought in more food when we wererunning low. Our staff is still raving about how delicious their lunches were. Salads I purchased yesterday had rotting avocados, and were sparse on ingredients besides lettuce. This is not remotely the... normal quality of food I receive here. Also, the staff appeared to have turned over; the staff working seemed untrained -unfamiliar with the salad ingredients and dressings. They seemed to have difficulty keeping my order of 2 meals together. Theywere not the level of professionally friendly that makes this a great restaurant. As a regular customer, this experience wasextremely disappointing. Update 11/28/22 The food quality has improved since original review. However, tonight and on myprevious visit staff the following have happened on both visits: mixed orders up and asking customers to help them identifywhat food belongs to who. There is not hand sanitizer in the sanitizer stations. The small cup lids are empty. On tonight?svisit, many other items are next to empty. And my water cup leaked out the bottom (without me drinking anything) so there iswater all over the tray. Read more
