My first time dinning here and it was spectacular, everything was prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was great, our server... Murphy was Phenomenal. I enjoyed the Soul Bowl and my friend had the burger, we also tried the wings and cornbread skillet. Iwill be returning for sure. Read more
I've written this review twice and erased it all. The servers and manager know what went on no need to bash in a review. Great... atmosphere. Host and servers were extremely nice. Food tasted very good; however it took 50 minutes to get 2 orders of eggsBenedict. Prices a bit high for this area so be prepared if you go and they added a $5 service fee onto the bill. 1861 never disappoints! I have tried dinner and brunch and both have been great. The brunch menu always makes us want to order... everything on the menu. My go to is the salmon and grits, with eggs. The chicken and waffles are great as well. Great brunchspot, or date night spot. The ambiance is great and there is a good drink menu to go along with the food. Read more
