Always great food and portions are so big. We always bring doggie bags home. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
Wings were great and the service was over the top Really treated us good very impressed. The meatball Parm was huge but light on... sauce & meatballs were bla all bread no meat. Tuesday was hubby?s 60th birthday and he requested Italian. A coworker recommended Old Erie. We checked out the menu prior to... going and found enough choices that suited us both. We didn?t have reservations but were still warmly welcomed. I wanted to trythe bruschetta but hubby isn?t a bread eater so I passed. However, a beautiful loaf of fresh bread with butter AND a bowl ofseasoned oil was brought to the table so I was in heaven. Hubby wanted the veal cordon bleu but with marinara and our waiter,Scott R. was very accommodating. I ordered chicken Parmesan and the portions were HUGE! The food is delicious and you can telltime and care are put into each plate. Scott our waiter was as friendly as could be giving us multiple choices for sides andchecking in with us twice. Needless to say, we both ate until we were stuffed and still had enough for a second meal. I like theatmosphere - such a beautiful old building. Free parking across the street is a plus. I'm leaving four stars because I've been here and the food was so good. Finally I was able to bring my husband here. We drove 40... minutes to get there for lunch which opens at 2:00. It's Saturday and I checked online if they're open - we got there a littleafter two and the door was open. We waited a couple minutes and finally asked the bartender for a table. Apparently they weren'treally open at 2 today because of a private party. I get it- there isn't room for other customers but just seems to strange tonot have it posted anywhere, not even the front door. Definitely disappointing to make the trip there on a Saturday afternoon tofind it randomly closed. Maybe there is someway to update that at least somewhere if it's something that happens. Maybe one daywe will make it back but be sure to call first before assuming they're open for the hours they say they are. Read more

Great portions, but my second time there getting lasagna, they skimped on the meat and overdid it with the cheese. Guess they... didn?t think we?d notice much less meat by heaping a huge chunk of cheese on top. Also, the taste wasn?t as good as the firsttime I went. The tiramisu was light and tasty as before. Won?t go back there again. I?ll continue my search for the perfectlasagna. Read more
