As you enter The Bull Room, the ambiance is warm and inviting. As a NYC native, the array of various liquors and alcoholic... beverages for a quirky, unique cocktail menu is surely impressive! My mom has heard wonderful reviews from fellow co-workersabout this hidden gem and we decided to try it out on Mother's Day weekend. However, when we walked in, inviting is not what wefelt. There were two bartenders at the bar, the male bartender greeted us but it took over 10 minutes for the other youngbartender to supply us with cocktail menus. We ordered two fabulous drinks and decided to try raw Oysters. We ordered a niceportion and once we received them, no utensils, napkins, plates were provided. Not to mention, we noticed a bartender drinkingat the bar which is a NO-NO! The female bartender provided us with our missing items after my mom got her attention and once wetried the oysters, they were filled with grit and salt which surely did not taste appealing. The atmosphere in general for uswas not as comforting as other customers in terms of checking in and making sure we were having a pleasant experience. To top itoff, my receipt was incorrect and that could have been prevented, I presume if the bartender was not drinking. Overall, my momand I felt that if we were welcomed and had the experience that most other google reviewers had, we would have surely came backon a regular basis...That will not be the case. I hope that this establishment makes sure for future reference that all guestsare treated fairly and with courtesy and friendliness. Read more
