First time we went I wasn't sure what to think. Tonight made the decision easy. The prices were a little high but thats with... everything it seems. My issue is considering the high prices, they literally serve pizza rolls. Not a homemade or some speciallymade pizza rolls. These were straight from a bag of the ones you see at any store. With that being said, $6.00 for 8 pizza rollswhen they atleast give you 32 in a bag at any store. And those aren't even $6.00. We attended a class reunion on Saturday evening. We were initially told we would have the whole bar closed to the public, we... were told day of we would only have the dinning room side. The owner also told us he would have the staff needed to accommodateat least 100 people. We were packed on one side of the restaurant with 2 waitresses, 1 bartender for the whole bar (the bar sidewas packed with customers as well), and someone who was taking drink orders at a table but it cause more confusion thananything. One of the waitresses from the start was beyond rude to over half the guest at this reunion, the other waitress we hadworked so hard to compensate for the rude waitress and make up for the lack of staff. One table timed how long it took to getthe drinks they ordered, it was 38 MINUTES from the time they ordered until they got the drinks. It was very disappointing forthe amount of time and effort that was put into this reunion for the owner of this bar to not have the proper staff needed, wentback on shutting the bar down to the public and never once apologizing for the mess that this all caused. We haven't been tothis establishment since March after another unfortunate experience and I highly doubt we will be back any time soon. Read more
We stopped in here to grab a bite and a quick drink. This establishment seems to be fairly popular with the locals. The interior... of the bar is a classic small town bar atmosphere. There are plenty of tables and chairs in the establishment to accommodate foreven the largest of groups. The bar is typical horseshoe shaped bar that has plenty of seating. We bellied up to the bar andgot two tall beers and ordered a burger and fish sandwich. The total for the order was a few pennies under $30. The fishsandwich is one of the best I?ve ever had. The bun was soft, and the fish inside was cooked very well and battered lightly. Iwould highly recommend this if you like fish sandwiches. The french fries that came in the basket were also really crispy andtasty. The hamburger looked good however, I did not taste it, so I cannot give any type of personal feelings. The bartenderwho served our food and drinks was very pleasant, and she was new to the establishment. She definitely made the experience somuch more pleasant. The only down side was when the cook came out and a customer asked what he was up to and he replied ?HateCrimes? then laughed. Really?!
